Cannot connect Nest Mini to Audible

I am trying to play Audiobooks through Audible on my Nest. I can play audiobooks through every other smart device I have but this one is unable to do so. I see several forum posts from years ago that seem to no longer be accurate and should be removed. I have enabled everything on the Audible side, but linked services in Google and Partner services in Google do not seem to recognize Audible is looking for a link.

Whenever I try to play an audiobook the nest mini replies 

"Voice actions aren't available for that app." 

But there seems to be no way to enable them.

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you're having issues playing Audible audiobooks on your Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) device and that you're receiving the "Voice actions aren't available for that app" error message. I'm happy to help you! 

Currently, you can only start an audiobook using voice commands for books purchased from Google Play Books & Audiobooks.

To listen to audiobooks from other providers, in this case Audible, you can use some alternative options that will allow you to play audiobooks on your Nest Mini. Depending on your device and content provider, try one of the following options for remote play:

• Play media from Google Cast-enabled apps.
• Play Android audio on Google Nest or Home devices.
• Play media on your Google Nest speaker or display using Bluetooth.
