Hi,

I moved apartments and trying to connect my google home minis and nest audios but it would get “connected” and then I would get the “something went wrong” screen.

I am using Aerwave fiber and do not have a router to reset.

Any suggestions?

Hello Dee1992,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

I know how challenging it is when your Google Home Mini and Nest Audio are not connecting to your network. Let's try to get to the bottom of this.

A few questions:

  • How far are your speakers from the fiber box?
  • What message are you getting when you try to connect your speakers to your network?

Let's try these steps below:

  1. Reboot your speakers and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  2. Turn WiFi on and off on the mobile setup device.
  3. If you have a dual-band router, try setting up your speaker or display on both the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,
