Cannot send invite for Workspace accounts in SAME Workspace

I have my Google Home registered under our Google Workspace account.  I am trying to invite family members (of the same Workspace domain) into the Google Home... but every time I try to invite it just says "Can't send invite right now".

I have been attempting to do this for years now and every time I come back to it it still fails.

Under a Google Home that is under a Workspace account how do I invite the peer Workspace users into the Google Home?

Unfortunately, members of a Google Nest household have to have a gmail account. (When you attempt to send an invite to a non-gmail account, you get the non-helpful message, "Can't send invite right now.") There are many posts in this forum asking why Google Workspace accounts are not allowed.

Thanks for reaching out. I appreciate MplsCustomer's help here. I can confirm that Google Workspace (formerly known as G Suite) accounts don't have the ability to be a home member.
