Is it any way to cast Youtube to a speaker group? I know the answer that YouTube is a video service, and the speaker group is audio only, but then why I can play YouTube on the Background and even with the screen off, which is a feature offered as such with a YouTube Premium? I see it as an unnecessary limitation. YouTube is plenty of podcasts, music and other content that have just a static image for convenience, but in fact are audio only.

Hi Lironcareto,
Thanks for reaching out.
We understand your point of view and we appreciate your honest feedback. Even if there are contents on YouTube that has static images only, those contents are still in video format. In line with this, we’d like to encourage you to send a feedback for any features that you’re looking forward to using with our Google Nest devices. Let's all hope for all these possibilites to be available in the future.
Best,
Princess

Oh, Thanks. But then why YouTube offers as a Premium feature to play "videos" with the screen off if "those contents are still in video format"? That matter is something you didn't even touch...

Hi Lironcareto,
Yes, that's right. I'm also using YouTube premium and it plays on my phone with screen turned off or on. YouTube have different integration when it comes to phones and other devices including Google Nest speakers. We totally agree to your point and that's a very clever observation. Send us a feedback and the team would gladly look into it.
Best,
Princess
