My daughter is set up through Family Link and can play music on our Nest Hub Max via Apple music without issue. However, she is unable to play music on the Mini I got specifically for her. It says something about "You Tube Music" which is not our default Music Player (Apple Music is). Also, I can play Apple Music just fine on the Mini, as well as my husband. It's only my daughter that has this issue. I did a complete factory reset of the device, only to continue to have the same issues. Help, Please!

I understand how inconvenient it is that despite getting the Nest Mini for your daughter to listen to Apple Music, it defaults to "YouTube Music" instead, which isn't your preferred service, especially since it works fine on your Nest Hub Max. Consider that when you set up the speaker or display using your child's account managed with Family Link, the Google Home device will allow your child to ask the Google Assistant questions and play YouTube videos or songs from YouTube Music. However, children can’t access certain YouTube features.

Yes. She is configured to work the Nest Hub Max and is able to play music through Apple Music. Thanks.
