Clicking sound

Hello, when I play sound on my speaker it makes a clicking sound every minute or so. I discovered this a few months back, but figured it was probaly normal and would go away with time. I have tried fully reseting the device, so it was "brand new" or as store bought. But still when I play music it will make a clicking sound.

Also additionally issue, sometimes the assistant just fully ignores me. It listen to what I say and then just dosen't do it. It only happen every now and then but when it happens it is a full day where the assistant is ignoring me.

Hi  jose007,

Thanks for reaching out, and we appreciate the troubleshooting that you did. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. What Google Nest speaker are we working with? If possible, try to set up your speaker using another network and observe if it makes a difference.

I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Juni

Hi @jose007,

Thanks for posting here in the community. I apologize for the delay. I'd be happy to help!

Just a few questions:

  • Does the issue occur when you play music?
  • Is the device physically damaged?

I also suggest rebooting the device. You can refer to the following article: Reboot Google Nest or Home speaker or display.

Additionally, try playing music from a different platform using commands like "Okay Google" or "Hey Google."

Hope this helps!

Best regards,

Jenniffer
