Connecting to YouTube TV

I just bought a Nest Hub Max and am having trouble with YouTube TV.  I spent an hour and a half in a chat session and really didn't get anywhere.  I have a YouTube TV account under the same gmail account as my Hub. I can tell Google to play a particular program on YouTube TV and it will, but it starts with the first episode.  I finally discovered that I could tell it to play a particular episode, and sometimes it will do that, sometimes it will tell me I need a Premium account to do that.  It shouldn't need a Premium account just to play a show's episode. And it doesn't sync with my YouTube TV, so if I go back to the TV it won't show that the program has played. Also, I can't ever pull up a list of available programs or my library like it does on my TV. The only way I can get it to play is by naming the show and/or season and episode. But even then it will always start the episode over even if I was watching it and stopped in the middle.  And when I tell it to play something, in my Google Home app it says I'm casting.  But I don't think it should be casting, it should be playing directly from the Hub, right?  Anyway, I need to know if this is normal behavior or if it should be syncing with my YouTube TV account and showing me lists of available programs like it does on the TV.  Help!

Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help. 

 

I understand that it can be confusing while trying to watch a video but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help. 

 

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? 

 

Can you clarify what type of Premium account you are talking about that it wants you to get?
