Connecting to soeakers in home, not on same wifi netwirk

I cannot broadcast to any of the speakers in my home if i'm not connected to the same wifi network.  I've had no trouble connecting everything.  But when i'm at work, I would like to broadcast to my home speakers in order to wake up my teenager.But i'm not on the same wi.Fi so it won't let me.

Select "Ask Home" bar at the top of the Google Home app and then type Broadcast...

First, can you please tell me if you received any errors when you tried to broadcast music?

Second, here you have the requirements to broadcast from a phone to a speaker.

What you need:

  • A phone with Google Assistant.
  • Your phone meets Google Assistant requirements.
  • The same Google Account signed in on the phone is signed in to each speaker.
  • Do Not Disturb is off.
  • The speaker's firmware version is 1.39154941 or later.
