Connectivity issues and unable to cast Disney+

I have two issues that are most likely linked. (Nest Hub, first gen). Once given a commando I regularly get the answer that something went wrong and to try again later. When I do, often, it works again and it executes the commando. But its weird that basically every time the first commando given results in an error. 
Also since a few weeks I am unable to cast Disney + to my Nest Hub. Both by commando and manually through the Disney plus app. Sometimes I do get some kind of reaction, like a (short) black screen or the blue Disney screen but it never actually plays the video. I do not have the issue with YouTube. 
Any more suggestions on how to tackle this problem? 
So far I have factory reset my nest hub, my router and unlinked+re-linked my Disney plus. Unfortunately this did not solve the problems I am having and customer service was also unable to help me properly.
Edit: I am able to cast Disney+ to my TV using a Chromecast. So it is only the nest hub that is having issues.
