Control Google Nest Speaker Remotely

Hi there. How can I control my Google Nest Speaker remotely?  It seems that it only can be controlled when I am at home conected to wifi.

I appreciate your help and recommendations.

Hey,

I assume you all set it up in the Google Home App? You should be able to stream your music from your phone to that device through the GHA. Spotify allows it to do it aswell within their app.

Or ask Google Assistant to play "song name" to "device name".

Being able to control your Google Nest speaker while away from home is a great feature, but it is not available or supported on any of our speakers or displays. We're always looking for ways to improve; we'll take this as feedback. You can also send feedback using your device by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Visit this link for more steps.

As an alternative, you can create a routine and add actions that you want your speaker to do. Like playing music or controlling home automation devices. Check out this guide: Create and manage Routines for Google Home automations
