Could not communicate with your nest mini

Changed my WiFi recently and my Google home nest refuses to connect when I use the app. I've unplugged it, I moved it closer, I've uninstallEd the app, I've done everything. I don't understand why it's not working

Hey there, 

Sorry to hear about the issues that you're having when connecting to the wifi, I understand this could be frustrating but I'm happy to help. 

 

I would suggest running through these steps:

 

  1. Do a factory reset, then connect it to the 2.4G band. 
  2. Run the Home app again and try to reconnect your device.

Thanks we just got new WiFi and there's not an option for 2.4 we have both but it just picks what's best, I switched it to manual but I still cant chose.

Right I figured out how to split my WiFi and I put it on 2G and it still didn't work
