Disney+ option not available

Hello, I am not able to link disney+ to my nest hub 2. Its not showing up as an option. Any ways to solve this please?

Thanks for visiting the Community. Let's check out why you can't link your Disney+ account to your Nest Hub. A few questions — was it working before? Have you tried reinstalling your Google Home app? Also, is it happening when you use a different phone while linking Disney+?

No I only recently purchased the nest hub.

Yes I have tried reinstalling the Home App. My phone has Home app, netflix and disney+ installed. But when trying to link disney+, its not showing up as an option when I setup a new video service. Btw, does the number of options shown depending on what apps you have installed on your phone?

I havent tried linking using a different phone yet. I will try that and let you know.

Thanks for the update. 

 

The video services option shouldn't be depending on the app that you installed on your phone. You can still link them even if it's not installed on your device. If you're using an iPhone, try installing the Google Assistant app. Let me know if you'll get the same result when using a different phone.

Thanks for following up. I tried your suggestions in using the Google assistant app, as well as using another phone. However I still only see Netflix as the only video service provider that I could link to.

We'd like to check, what country you're located in? Also, what language and region on your phone? Could you try resetting your Nest Hub to its default settings?

Im using it from Hong Kong. My phone region is Hong Kong and language is English. I have factory reset the nest hub and its still not available. I think I will give up.

Thanks for updating us.

 

This may not be the answer you're looking for — Nest Hub isn't officially launched in Hong Kong. Some features may not show since you're in an unsupported country. We're always looking for ways to improve and to bring more Google Nest devices to different regions. Should you still need our help please let me know, otherwise I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
