Doesn’t connect to wifi or the Google home app

Have a Google nest audio but it won’t connect to wifi or the Google home app, already tried resetting the device several times and also have reset the wifi but still nothing happens.

Thanks for posting.

 

To confirm, are you using a private network? If so, do you have a dual-band router? Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router. 

 

Give these steps a try: 

 

  • Reboot your router and Nest Audio to refresh your connection. 
  • Toggle the Wi-fi settings on your phone
  • Bluetooth is enabled and mobile data is off.
  • Make sure your Google Home app is updated. 
  • Check router settings. (AP isolation must be disabled and UPnP must be enabled). 
  • Turn on Local network access for the Google Home app. Here's how: Privacy > Local Network > Google Home app. 
  • Use a mobile hotspot to set up your devices (To isolate the issue). Hope the steps help!
