I don't know what happened with my nest mini but one day it just stopped working out of the blue. After several attempts to setup the device again on the Google Home app, I ended up doing a factory reset. I've done this SEVERAL times already and I continue to get the same message: "Your Nest Mini was setup successfully but can't be found. Make sure your mobile device and Nest Mini are on the same Wi-Fi network." I am about ready to throw this thing out the window! I've uninstalled the Google Home app, factory reset the Nest Mini to no avail. Wi-Fi has not changed and I am not about to unplug my router. Even if I just try playing music from Sirius XM without completing the Wi-Fi connection, it tells me I need to log in with the Google Home app....WHICH I HAVE AND IT IS LINKED TO MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT. Has anyone tried anything different than what I have mentioned?? I am completely frustrated with this product and need help.

you might try using the "device utility app" in the latest nest community blog post

I haven't used it myself but it might be another thing to look into

I just tried this and I receive a message: "Make sure the device is powered on and near your phone." The nest mini is right next to me.

Separately there is also a answer on nest support that says to unplug and replug many times if your having issues

Tried this as well and I still get the same message about the Wi-Fi. I give up.

Hey there,
Thanks for visiting the Community.
Since this thread hasn't had activity in a while, we're going to close it to keep content fresh. We hope you were able to get the help you need, but if you're still having trouble, please try removing the speakers from the group if added to one, and resetting the devices. Once removed, try re-adding those to ensure they are all connected and on the same Wi-Fi.
Best regards,
Jake
