Error during final step of Google Nest Mini setup.

Hi there.

My Nest Mini continues to show offline even though I can perform voice commands on the device.
So I have initialized it. However, at the final step of the setup, I get the following error message: " Setting up your Nest Mini a problem occurred during."
After this problem occurred, I initialized again. This time, Google Nest Mini stopped detecting Wi-Fi. The setup does not show any Wi-Fi suggestions. Is there any action I can take?

Hey penguin_penguin,

 

Were sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's sort this out.

 

Are you using a private home network? Also, were there any changes in your network before it happened? 

 

Try these steps:

 

  • Make sure your Google Nest Mini is within 15-20 feet of your router.
  • Uninstall and reinstall your Google Home app.
  • Reboot your phone, Nest Mini and router to refresh the connection.
  • Toggle the Wi-Fi settings on your phone.
  • If the issue persists, try resetting your Nest Mini to its default settings. It will erase all the data on your speaker.
