Extremely low volume over bluetooth

chin2chaudhary
Community Member

I have a Google Hub Max, Google Hub and Google Mini, I recently purchased a Mashall speaker. When casting music from any or the Google Home devices. The music over bluetooth is very low. When I connect the speaker directly with my phone over bluetooth even 40% volume is very high, Whereas asking Google to play the same song over bluetooth the max volume is very faint.

I have reset all my devices already and  paired and Unpaired many times as well.

I see many people have mentioned this issue. Is there a fix yet?

Hi chin2chaudhary,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let's check it out. Are you Nest Hub Max, Nest Hub and Google Home Mini on a speaker group along with your Marshall speaker? To isolate further, when not using Bluetooth, and just having them play music individually or in a group, is the volume still low? It would help a lot if you could manually change the volume before and during playing music via Bluetooth and tell us how it goes.

Best,

Dan

No these are not on a group. I am connecting my best hub directly via Bluetooth.

I have tried changing the volume separately as well. It feels like there is a cap on high volume. Is there a way to control the volume of the connected Bluetooth device?

Hi chin2chaudhary,

Thanks for the information. The only way to control the volume when in Bluetooth is through the source and via the devices linked to it. To make sure, while all this is happening, your Nest speakers are connected to your Marshall speaker via Bluetooth, right? It would help a lot if you could remove your Marshall speaker from Bluetooth, leaving only your Nest speakers to isolate if it's with your Marshall or Nest speakers that are having some concerns. Also, if possible, before you connect all of them, try to set the volume to 8 or 9 first and let's see what happens.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Dan
