GHT3 Nest Audio Crackling and Popping

I am having that crackling audio issue. Also the bar at the top that text appears on when you are giving voice commands is constantly popping down and when it does the audio stops each time. It is impossible to listen to anything. I have reduced the “hey google” sensitivity and this did not help. What do you suggest to remedy this?

• When does your Google Nest Audio make crackling and popping noises?
  • All the time? Playing media? During voice commands? When the device is idle?
• Could you please reboot and Factory Data Reset your device? Are there any improvements? Is this issue still occurring? 
  • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. 
  • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
