Getting Persistent Reminders to Display?

JJZee

I previously had my Hub Max setup under a Google Workplace account (formerly called GSuite).  I had to change it to a regular Gmail account to get it to display my Nest Doorbell Video.  Previously though, if I had sent reminders on the calendar associated with the account I set the Hub Max up with, the reminder would persistently display on the Hub Max prominently all day until I cleared it on the calendar or on the Hub Max.  I can't remember but I think even if a slide show was running it would display, at least every time it recognized me being in the room.

Since re-installing it under my Gmail account there have been no reminder notification "pop ups" and the reminder is buried on like the 3rd dashboard panel and I have to manually scroll the Hub display to that page to see it.

Is there some setting I'm missing somewhere that needs to be turned on?  Or if I don't notice the reminder notification in the morning of the day of the reminder what it first sees me in the room, will it not every display again?

I tested it yesterday, I sent a reminder for with the same date and time 30 min in the future.  Over the next 30 min I walked up to the display several times and it did not pop-up the reminder notification on the display. I made sure the reminder was set on the calendar that is for the account the Hub Max is setup up with.

 Hi JJZee

Thanks for posting this. Your Google Nest Hub Max is a great device to get reminders.

Let’s check this setting and make sure it’s enabled on your Google Nest Hub Max.

Turn on personal results:

Make sure the customer's mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as the speaker or display.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. At the top right, tap the account (the icon with the customer’s initial or profile picture).

Verify the Google Account on screen is the one linked to the speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap the drop-down arrow > choose another account or Add another account.

  1. From Home, tap Settings Google Assistant > Personal results.
  2. Follow the in-app steps.

Note: To prevent others from accessing reminders, link a Google Account and voice to the speaker or display.

Keep me in the loop.

Regards,

Juni
