Google Home Hub getting "Can't Play Video Type" when trying to show any channel on Youtube TV

This just started on Black Friday.  Any time you try to watch something from YoutubeTV on the Hub, it will show you the channel listing, but if you select anything you will either get no change or an error stating that "The Video Type cannot be played".  Everything works fine on the Chromecasts connected to TVs, as well as using the YouTube TV app on an android phone.  It only now fails on the Hub.

Any ideas on how to fix this?  I've rebooted my routers, the Hub (multiple times) and just can't seem to get it to work.

Hi RickS5,

Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. A few questions: were there any recent changes made? Are other video services working? Does it happen when you use a voice command too?

You can try to factory reset your Google Nest Hub. This erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.

Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays
