Google Home Max wont enter setup

I'm having trouble setting up my Google Home Max. When I plug it in, the lights start blinking and then turn off after a little over a minute before it can enter setup mode. I don't have the original charging cable, but I'm using a standard dual pin cable with 2.5A 250V.

I've tried factory resetting it, both using the button and by unplugging the cable 10 times

• When did the issue first occur? 

• Have you tried to use another power outlet? 

• Could you test the cable with a secondary speaker, if you have one available, and check if the same behavior happens?

• What color of LED light do you see on the device?
