I have a Google Home speaker that sits on a half wall between my kitchen and family room. I use Chromecast with Google TV. When I watch tv, the google speaker consistently does a start up chime every few minutes. It occurs ONLY when watching tv. How can I turn this off? I don't have the Chromecast set to run sound through the speaker.

Hi treymart,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with the chime sound that your Google Nest speaker is making while you are watching something on your Chromecast with Google TV. I understand how frustrating this situation can be. But don't worry; help is here. I just need to ask for some information to provide the best solution:
Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.
Best regards,
Jenny

Actually, I "think" I may have fixed it, waiting to test. I think it had to do with my plug being behind my couch on the wall. It was higher up and my wife may have moved to down towards the floor. In this case, when I sit on the couch, it tends to slide back against the wall (due to the hardwood floor). I think that pressure was causing it to power on and off. I'll follow up once I've tested. Thanks for checking in to help!
