Google Home and Mini only set alarms, not reminders

For a long time I just ask Google to set a reminder at a certain time. Then it would ask me what it was. Now it simply says "alarm set for XXX" and doesn't go to part two where I tell it what the reminder should be, not an alarm. Has something recently changed?

I've always said "Hey Google, Set a Reminder"  and then she'd ask for the name and then the time.

With Alexa you can place the name, date and time in one Reminder command.
