Nanoleaf won’t actually link

I am trying to add my nanoleaf smart bulbs (not matter) to the google home app and when i search up “nanoleaf” and tap on it, I sign in, after that it closed and said “account successfully linked” but nothing happens/just brings me back to my devices tab. I redo it, and the account isn’t linked. I’ve uninstalled the app, updated both home and nanoleaf, not really sure how to fix this. They were working fine not too long ago but I had to delete them to change over the network and now I’m not able to relink them. Cloud sync is also on in the nanoleaf app.

Hi Suddenlysocks,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that your Nanoleaf smart bulbs can't link to the Google Home app because it shows "account successfully linked," but then it says the account isn't linked. I appreciate the troubleshooting you've done so far. I'm happy to help you!

I recommend that you do the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Create another home structure.
    • Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
    • Tap Settings Settings and then Add Add.
    • Select Home.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Force quit the app
  • Use another mobile device.

Keep me posted.

Best regards,

Rusell.
