Google Home mini connection issue

Hi everyone been having issues ever since i moved to a new location connecting to the 1st gen google home mini.

 

As another thread stated roughly a year ago I've been having endless issues connecting to the Google home mini for wifi set-up, and the other thread issues from multiple people was never resolved.

 

"Could not communicate with your google home mini"

Tried every troubleshooting option there was to absolutely no success, so I'm not going to bother listing every one.

Have i been locked behind a legacy generation device paywall that prevents me from ever setting up my google home mini again? If the only resolution is to buy a newer generation, I'll just buy literally any other smart speaker after this experience.

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. A few questions: are you using a private or a shared WiFi connection? If private, are you using a dual-band router? On which band are you trying to connect your Google Home Mini? Have you tried using another phone or setup device?
