Google Home mini does not recognise himself

Hey HansWurst,

 

Thanks for trying. To confirm, have you tried renaming your device? Also, please proceed with resetting your Google Home Mini by following the steps below:

 

  • On the bottom of Home Mini, press and hold the factory reset button located below the power cord. Look for a circle etched into the base. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

Thanks for sharing the video. Please try changing the Assistant language to EN_US and check if you will still have the same issue.

Please set EN_US as the primary language then check if it will have the same behavior.

Dear Muddi, 

 

I have changed the main language to English US BUT I still get the same error message.

 

Unfortunately I can't upload the screenshot from my android device.

I need to do it with my iPad later.
