Google Home won't login

My daughter is trying to login to Google Home on her iPhone XS and it won't work. It was working last week.

Now when she opens the app and clicks her Google Account to login, she gets an error "Unexpected response from the server". She had been using her school Google Account so I created her a personal Google account and when I go to "Use another account" we login but loop back to that screen and it never logs in. I now have two Google Nest Mini speakers (one at each house for her) that are completely useless. I have been trying to fix this for 3 hours, please help!!

I understand that login issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help. 

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?
