Google Home won't play the exact song asked

I've had this issue for a few months now. There's a specific children song that won't play as much as I ask for it specifically.

 

The voice is being recognised as I can see the exact name and album on my voice command on the screen but it will play an alternate version of the song, leading me to have to use my phone to control Spotify to pick the correct one.

I've unlinked and linked Spotify and it's clearly not doing it.

Any ideas why this is happening? Reading through the forum seems like it's not a Spotify specific issue.

Thanks for posting, and apologize for the late response.

We know how it feels when the Google Home device is not able to play your preferred song version - we'd love to help. A few questions - when did the issue start? Do you have a premium subscription? Does the same issue happen when you use the Google Assistant app on your phone? Also, please provide the song title together with the version and artist's name so we can try to reproduce the issue.

Hi there, the issue still persists. Here's an example that I can't get to work: "Play  Five little Ducks by Super Simple Songs". This doesn't work neither on my phone or the nest hub, and it used to work a couple of months ago.

Apologies for the delays. To confirm, is this issue isolated on a specific song only? This looks like an issue with the Google Assistant itself since we are getting the same issue when playing on the phone/tablet using the Assistant app. Please send feedback via voice command on your Google Nest Hub and on the Google Assistant app once you experience the issue so the team will be able to investigate it.
