Google Hub Max - Display Screens - No longer shows the date

I know that the photo frame can't currently show the date (I hope this gets added soon!).
But I used to be able to tap the screen, the display would switch from Photo Frame to my 'Morning Screen' / 'Afternoon screen'. And I used to be able to see the date. On the 'Evening screen', the date never showed.

However, now my morning screen no longer shows the date.

Infact, I am see widgets which I NEVER use on my screens now. And the fact that in my home app I can't edit what widgets are displayed, in what order, on the morning / afternoon / evening screen is really frustrating and massively devalues the potential of the product. 
How do I get the DATE to return to my morning and afternoon screens? How do I edit these screens to make them more useful to me?

Thanks for your post. I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused by the Google Nest Hub's widgets and tabs. I understand your frustration. I would be more than happy to help answer your question.

Yes, you are correct, unfortunately, there is not a way to change the tabs or widgets. I tried pressing on the widgets on the Google Nest Hub itself, and it only gives me an option to open it.

The only thing you can customize is your lock screen/photo frame. That feature only has the option of displaying Google Photos, Art gallery, or a Fullscreen clock.

Thanks for following up. 

No, the issue where the weather widget on my morning and afternoon screen was not showing the date is now resolved. The date appears now on the weather widget, which it stopped doing when I posted.

I would still very much like to arrange the order of my widgets, as the hub max for some reason uses half the screen for 1 giant widget that I never use. And the widgets I am interested in I need to scroll right to see. The ai / logic used to arrange the widgets is terrible.

Other than that feature request, I am good for now thanks.
