Google Hub and Google Hub Max "Something went wrong" on voice commands

Both my Hub and Hub max quit responding to voice commands. They pick up on the hotwords, but then respond "something went wrong" or "there was a glitch". Commands from touch work, casting works. They just do not respond. Nothing has changed network wise, tried reboot and hard reset. same issues.

Well 2 weeks later... they magically work again. 🤷‍♂️
