Google Nest Audio mute light

Is it possible to turn off the mute lights on a Google nest audio?

It's not possible according to this thread:

Those orange dots are annoying and ruin the asthetic of the speaker.

Submit a feedback request from the Google home app. Maybe they'll remove it if they receive enough requests. I'd at least like to have the option to disable it or even change the color of the LEDs.

Do you know if this will be included in a future update? I would like the ability to turn off the mute light or at least change the color.
