Dear all
I‘m using my Nest Hub 2nd Gen as a ROON Display (music service).
On Nest Hub ROON will be show only Cover Art, Lyrics and Title of the Music played thru network streamer.
But it‘s not working as it should because of the screensaver.
Is there a possibility to turn-off the screensaver?
Screenreader would be the other solution but the red-line box and flickering is not an option.
Many thanks for your help.
Best

Hi allucinox,
Roon is yet to be fully supported as a music service on Google Home. Casting music is a workaround you can try if it is a cast-enabled app. If not, you can connect your device to your Google Nest Hub via Bluetooth. Are you getting the same behavior if you play music from other music services like YouTube or Spotify?
Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex
Many thanks for your answer. My Google Nest Hub was only used as a Display. I'm not going to play anything from the speaker inside.
The Display was used as a ROON-Display. Which means, that the sound comes from my HiFi Speakers and all the informations about the musician are visible on the Google Nest Hub. But since there is no "Screensaver Off" option and I had to use the "Screenreader" option with the flickering all the time...i had to send the Google Nest Hub back.
Many thanks anyway for your help.
Wish you a happy x-mas.
