Google Nest Hub Display doesn't ring when Nest Doorbell Wireless is run

When my Google Nest Wireless doorbell is run, my two Google Nest Hubs almost never ring (or even display that someone is at the door).  It will ring the hub, maybe one in every 20 times, meaning I miss 19 doorbell rings.

Here are additional details:

  • From my Google Nest Hub, I can activate the camera and look outside
  • My Android Phone will ring when someone is at the door
  • All of the devices are within the same house and the same wifi network
  • It has worked before reliably (but I can't remember when it last worked reliably)
  • My three google nest minis also seem to be affected by this problem as well
  • I removed, factory reset, and re-added it to the house, it made no change
  • Google tech support for the Nest Doorbell said the doorbell was fine and it was with the Google Nest Hub display of Google Home App
  • I did a, "Hey Google Sync all my devices" and it made no change

How many other people are experiencing this problem?

@dwmccorm

Here is a similar post, where the customers report they only get "Visitor announcements" if the battery doorbell is pressed more than once: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Nest-Doorbell-Battery-notification-on-N...

With mine, if it is random if it will work.  I can press it tones of times repeatedly, and it won't work, then just randomly on one push it will.

Issue still present.

Anyone know the SLA on Googe Nest support tickets?  I'm approaching a week without any kind of response or feedback on ticket 4-4034000033161.

@Brad- Any luck looking into this ticket? We're approaching the 2 week mark with no outreach from the support team on the case.

Still haven't heard anything back from support on what the cause of this was.
