Hello. Not being able to continue this thread (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Speakers-and-Displays/Can-I-proactively-see-Google-calendar-e...) I open this new.
Google nest hub doesn't proactively show calendar events, only reminders. I tried a device reset but still the calendar events are not shown proactively (and not even at the preset time).
In the app settings the personal results and voice match are active: any ideas on how to solve?
Thank you.

Hi GND,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
We apologize if this thread was closed sooner than you would have liked. As Community Specialists, we occasionally do a bit of housekeeping to keep the conversations in our community fresh and relevant.
To answer your question, you should be able to see upcoming calendar events and should be displayed on the Home Screen of your Google Nest Hub. You can tap on the event to expand the details and the device reads out the event information. Since you meantioned that you've already checked other settings, could you please verify if these steps is done?
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
Princess

Hello. No problem for closing the thread, I understand perfectly.
I tried the suggested: my calendar is set as default.
Some clarification if they can help: my Google Nest (1st Jan) is used by 2 accounts. Both me and the second user, if we ask Google Nest (1 gen) what are the event, the Assistant responds correctly, recognizing the voice ... so I believe that the calendars are set correctly. But the events are not proactively shown.
Only the reminders are proactively displayed.
At this point I doubt that the proactive view feature only works with reminders. Or am I wrong?

Hi GND,
Upcoming calendar events are displayed on the Home Screen of your Google Nest Hub. You can tap on the event to expand the details and the device reads out the event information. If you ask about upcoming events, the calendar event details are displayed full screen and the device reads out upcoming events.
Could you please provide the cast firmware version of your Google Nest display, the one that works well with calendar and the one which not?
To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:
Keep me posted.

Hi.
I have only one Google Nest Hub (1 gen).
Until some time ago I seem to remember that the events were proactively shown and at some point they stopped, but I don't know when exactly, I think 2-3 months ago.
This is the Cast Firmware: 1.60.305621

Hi GND,
Thanks for your response.
Let's go ahead and try first to completely reset the Google Nest Hub and check if there would be any changes on its behavior after setting it up again.
Keep me posted.

Princess

Hi.
Sorry for the late reply. I have already try to reset the Google Nest but the issue remains.
You think I should try another time?

Hey GND,
Thanks for coming back to us. To confirm, does the Nest Hub display your calendar events when you ask it? Also, please get the "Operating System" version of your device.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hi Muddi.
I confirm that the Nest Hub show me my events if I ask for example "What are my events today?" (in Italian; I'm from Italy).
The Operating System is: 6.20211109.1.3166240

Hey GND,
