Google Nest Hub laggy when connected to one bluetooth speaker (but not other ones)

So I purchased a Google Nest Hub about a year ago. Everything worked perfectly. I would regularly connect my Hub to my bluetooth speaker for my TV and listen to music while I relaxed, cooked, ect.

Now everytime I connect to that same speaker I get this lag that seems to slow down the music some and distort it. So first I tried connecting the Hub to multiple speakers, All worked fine. Then I connect my home mini to the same speaker and it works fine. It just seems like when I connect my Hub to my speakers it breaks down. I've tried factory reseting both devices (home and speaker system) and still no luck. I don't know what to do and everyone I talk to tells me that basically I gotta replace the speaker or the Hub.
