Google Nest Hub thinks it is in another town

My Google Nest Hub thinks it is in another town. My home address is set correctly, but I get weather from a nearby town and often get "It will take 18 minutes to drive home in light traffic" notifications. I've tried to set a current location, but it won't do that. Is it getting location info from my internet connection (Google fiber) that is wrong?

I understand that these issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

The problem is still a problem.

 

I've tried setting my home address in the app, which seems to be reflected in the device. *However* the device still believes it is in another town. If I ask where we currently are, it believes this other town, and will provide weather for that area, etc. It will happily provide directions to drive home. I have it connexted to my Google wifi, which is connected to my Google fiber, which is maddening.

Hey there, 

Thanks for providing me with that information. 

So it sounds like the device may need a factory reset as it is still thinking that you are in a different city and it sounds like the app is working as intended.
