Google Nest Mini - Se desconecta constantemente al WiFi.

Hola a todos.

Estoy teniendo problemas con un Google Nest Mini 2nd Gen. 

Los primeros 4 o 5 meses anduvo perfecto, pero en estos últimos meses, esta funcionando bien, conectado al WiFi... y cada 1 día o 2 días, se desconecta y hay que volver a hacer todo el proceso de configuración desde la app de Google... constantemente hay que estar configurandolo.

- En ningún momento se cambió el router, es el mismo proveedor y router que cuando funcionaba correctamente. Aun asi, probé instalando otro router marca Tp-Link Archer C20i y el problema sigue.

- Probé resetearlo de fabrica dos veces, y sigue el problema.

- Probé pasarlo de conexión 5ghz a 2,4ghz, y sigue el problema.

- Probé moverlo a una nueva ubicación, lejos de equipos eléctricos... y sigue el problema.

¿Alguién tiene idea de que puede estar ocurriendo? muchas gracias.

I'm having issues with a Google Nest Mini 2nd Gen.

It worked perfectly for the first 4 or 5 months, but in these last few months, it's been acting up. It's connected to the WiFi and every 1 or 2 days, it disconnects, and I have to go through the whole setup process again using the Google app. I constantly have to keep setting it up.

  • The router has not been changed at any point. It's the same provider and router that were in use when it was working correctly. Even so, I tried installing another router, a Tp-Link Archer C20i, and the problem persists.

  • I tried factory resetting it twice, and the problem continues.

  • I attempted switching it from 5GHz to 2.4GHz connection, and the problem persists.

  • I tried moving it to a new location, away from electrical devices, and the problem persists.

Does anyone have any idea what might be happening? Thank you very much.

If you've gone through the setup process repeatedly, and have done a factory reset twice, perhaps you have a defective Nest Mini and should contact Support, using the link and instructions in this post:

Hi there,

 

I wanted to check if you were able to get in contact with our Google Home support team. If not, let’s further isolate this. A few questions: What is the verbal response you are getting from your Google Nest Mini whenever you give it a command and notice that it is disconnected? Are you using a dual-band router? Which band is your Google Nest Mini device connected to? Do you have other Google Home devices connected to the same WiFi as the Google Nest Mini?
