Hi, ever since I bought the device, it keeps on disconnecting. Stopped even using it but now tried again in hopes issue would have been fixed.

Never have those issues with Alexa...come on Google, where is a fix for that?

Single Router, 2ghz

Firmware version: 277099

Cast-Firmware: 1.54.277099

You're not alone. I've been struggling with this problem for over a year and Google support is useless. They actually put out a firmware update in August (1.56.264660) that fixed it but then rolled it back to the current version (1.54.277099) that made the problem even worse. I believe that Google was forced to do this by the lawsuit that Sonos won against them in September.  In any case, I wouldn't get my hopes up for a fix. On the plus side, the Nest Minis make great hockey pucks. 😁

Any Updates?

Yes. Google was ordered by the courts to stop infringing on Sonos' patents on January 6 so we are stuck with this problem until Google pays Sonos to license their technology or their engineers come up with a way to get around the patents by basically re-inventing the wheel. Right now, it looks like neither of those is going to happen because Google is too cheap for #1 and too incompetent for #2.

This means my minis are randomly disconnecting from wifi because Sonos wants money that they are running great? And why are my hubs working fine?

Yes, Sonos wants Google to pay them a licensing fee for stealing their patented intellectual property in order to run them out of business with cheap Chinese knockoffs (e.g Nest Minis).  Just google "Sonos Google lawsuit" and you'll find all you need to know.
