Google Nest Mini won't connect to eero 6 pro wifi

Hi my Google nest mini device will not connect to my eero 6 pro router. I've tried factory resetting this device and I still can't connect. This has only become an issue over the last couple of days. I've tried disabling various setting on my eero wifi network but I can't get my nest devices to connect to my WiFi. All other devices within my home connect to my WiFi fine including Google home devices and a JBL device which has Google assistant. Is there anything I can try to get this connecting again?

Hi, thanks for your response. Not sure what happened because my eero network has not updated but my nest devices are working once again now. I've been able to set them up and connect etc. so I think the problem is solved but I did not do anything. Thanks again for all the replies hope the issue is resolved for others too!

Same here. Suspect the latest Eero update (v7.10.1-34 released September 5th) but no response as yet from Eero.

Hi, I have the same problem with my two Nest Audio speakers; they suddenly stopped working last Friday.

Same problem. I can fix it by deleting my eero network (effectively factory reset) but it breaks once it updates itself again. Almost certainly a recent update from eero.

I have the same issue. Nest mini doesn't work but first gen speaker does.

Since the issue seems to be related exclusively to eero Pro 6 routers, I first need you to provide the information requested below to determine how to proceed:

  • What is the error message while trying to add the Nest Mini speakers in the Home app?
  • What is the LED light status of the Nest Mini speakers during set up?
  • Were there any recent changes in the network prior to the issue?
  • Do the Nest Mini speakers broadcast a hotspot? You can check on your phone's Wi-Fi list. If the device isn’t set up yet, the Wi-Fi name should start with "GoogleHome," followed by a set of numbers. Example: GoogleHomeXXXX
  • Do you have the latest version of the Home app, which is 3.40?
  • At what step exactly does the set up process fail in the Google Home app?
