Google Nest device language set to German

Hello everyone, 

I have read the many reports of this issue and not read a satisfactory answer. All reports say the users device returned to the “wrong language” after a day or more. I have this same experience. 
I have worked with my Google assist settings, worked with my home address setting etc to force the Nest to default to English but it returns to German after a day. I understand the reasoning but since I bought it in the Netherlands and the company shipped it from germany the device OS has German set as the default. 

we have two and are tempted to return the nests as we have seen others do out of frustration. 

can someone from Google please tell us how to backdoor change the device language of the nests?

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry that your Nest Hub (2nd gen) is not set to the correct language. Help's here!

In this situation, I'd like to ask a question:

• Do you have another home address from Germany set in your Google Home app?
