Google Nest items not seen depending on which Google Wifi point it is connected to.

I have 3 Google Wifi Points throughout the house, (1st Gen)
I have 6 Google items around the house... Google Minis in the bedrooms 4
Google Hub in the kitchen and a Google Hub in the living room.
Depending on which point a particular item is connected to defines whether or not it can be seen.
For instance.
In order to play music in my children's rooms I would like to play it on both rooms at the same time. I open the app and I can only see the google min in the room I am in.  Mini 1 is connected to Point 1, When I am in the room I am connected to point 1 and therefore can see it.
If I move across the hall Into the area covered by Point 2, My phone connects to it and I can only see the Minis connected to point 2. They cannot be seen overall and I cannot put them into a group.
I have two Sonos downstairs, again, covered by different points, only one can be seen depending on which point my phone is connected to... What am I doing wrong? Or is it just a limitation of the Google Wifi. (I borrowed a friend's ORBI system and had the same issue. Seems pointless that I have a mesh system and I cant see everything on the system.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
