I Keep getting this message

This device has already been set up by another user.

I have tried factory reset but it doesn't make any difference.

I had to install a new router, so obviously a new password but the nest won't accept the new password. No issues with Alexa and the TV's

@Bumble

That could happen if your factory reset was not successful.

I have tried the factory reset and left the speaker unplugged for 30 hours before reconnecting it and then trying factory reset. I now get a message asking to check my WiFi password and try again.

The password is definitely correct as we have other WiFi devices that are working perfectly well with this password

I'm just another Google Nest customer and don't know what else to suggest except to try the factory reset again and make sure you get the results documented in the Help topic.

Did something happen that led you to perform a factory reset in the first place?

You could try contacting Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Select your device from the dropdown, click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Unfortunately, Google Nest requires us to perform factory resets on all Google Nest devices when switching to a new Wi-Fi, even if all you are changing is the password. To avoid this, we used the same network name (SSID) and password when we got a new Wi-Fi router a couple of years ago, and so didn't have to update any of our Google Nest devices.

The only thing I have to suggest is to perform a factory reset and ensure that you get the response specified for your specific speaker, and then try to re-install.
