Google Next and speakers keep playing wrong play list

Kotawolf

Well, opening a new topic as they keep locking the topics on this subject.

I am using Google Music to hold my music.

I tell it to play..  "Keith's List" and it will repeatedly play Tobi Keith play list instead of my play list.
The Nest devices have been rebooted several times.  The internet provider was changed for other reasons, but the issue just keeps getting worse.

I made a new play list called "my relaxation" and when I tell it to "Play my relaxation play list", it comes back and says playing relaxing music on youtube.  It ignores my YouTube Music play lists far too often.

I found several other threads on this issue, one was just two weeks ago, but it is locked down to where I can't respond to it.

Hi Kotawolf,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Right now, Google Nest speakers only support the following music providers:

  • YouTube Music and YouTube Music Premium*
  • Spotify and Spotify Premium*
  • Apple Music*
  • Pandora and Pandora Premium (US only)*
  • Deezer (Premium and Family)

Some of these providers may be unavailable in your region. Contact the provider to check their availability where you live, or explore the music providers available with Google Assistant.

You may also try saying this command, "OK Google, play <name of playlist> from my library".

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Princess

Google Music, is YouTube Music....

So I am contacting their provider.

"You may also try saying this command, "OK Google, play <name of playlist> from my library"."

I've tried this a dozen times in the last week and it keeps on playing Tobi Keith play lists instead.

@Princesss I am having the exact same issue but with Spotify Premium. In addition, it works fine on Amazon devices, soooo....

@Princesss- Still no answer or recommendations?
This is getting worse.  This morning, I can't get my speakers to play more then three songs without them just stopping.   My list is just over 70 songs and I can only play three?

We could really use a fix to this.
