Google Photos not appearing on my Google Nest

Recently purchased a Google Nest Hub Max and it only shows pictures in my camera roll section not any pictures in my library. All photos in my library are archived once moved into created Albums. I see before that when someone unarchived photos this resolved the issue. Is there another way as I have 15k+ photos archived having them unordered in the camera roll section seems very unorganised.

Hello Kieran1202,

Thanks for reaching out to Google Nest Community.

When your Google Nest Hub or Google Nest Hub Max display isn't in use, it can quietly keep you entertained. You can add your favorite photos to Google Photos and display them in your Google Nest Photo Frame.

Alternatively, you can choose an existing art gallery or select from a variety of traditional and abstract clocks to show while your device is idle. You can also get notifications on your display about upcoming events, commute, reminders, flights and packages.

Set up Photo Frame on your Google Nest display

Use the Google Home app

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings and then Photo Frame and then adjust the settings you want.

Use your Nest display screen

  1. From the bottom of your Nest display screen, swipe up.
  2. Tap Settings .
  3. Tap Photo Frame and then adjust the settings you want.

If you have Voice Match enabled, you can also say "Hey Google, change Photo Frame" to open Photo Frame settings on your Nest display.

After that, make some photos your favorite by following these steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings and then Photo Frame.
  5. Tap Google Photos and then Select family & friends.
  6. Tap the faces you want to include and then Confirm or Done.

Let me know if these steps work.

Best,

Princess
