Google Speaker not connecting to Home on Pixel 4a

I have a google speaker model 10395-hoa. My google home app will not allow pairing. The Home app responds with

a pairing number. However. there is no place to enter the number. I can successfully pair the speaker with my Dell Inspiron 15 5000

I was able to setup my connection to Google Home by using a tablet. This was a good workaround.

Hey zxc123peter,

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. My apologies for the delays.

To confirm, are you trying to set up your Google Home Mini? Is this a first-time setup? What country are you located in? Please tell us more details about your concern so we can assist you properly. Also, let us know the steps that you've done.

USA. Trying to connect my 1039a HOA speaker to Google Home on a pixel 4a. When attempting to set BT pairing up between pixel and speaker, there is no place to enter pairing code. I can pair the speaker with my pc

I have also rebooted my router and modem

Hey zxc123peter,

Entering code when pairing on your Google Home speaker via Bluetooth is not supported. You can check with Pixel support if there's a way to bypass the code for you to connect your speaker on your phone.

Keep us posted.

Cheers,

Muddi
