Problem
I have tried selecting all the photo albums to be displayed in my Google Nest. However, the albums I choose are automatically de-selected
To Recreate:
1. Open the display (The specific Nest that you want to configure) from the Google Home app
2. Click on the 'Settings' [Cog wheel] icon > Photo Frame > Google photos
3. Wait for all the albums to load
4. Select all the albums (I wanted random photos from all the albums to show up on Nest)
5. Go back by pressing the back button at the top left corner of the screen
6. Come back to the same screen by following steps 1 and 2
Expected: When I come back, all the photo albums I have selected previously should be selected.
Actual: Some albums that I have selected before have been un-selected

Hello DeepikaF,
Thanks for posting here in the Community.
Please try to uninstall and reinstall your Google Home app if you haven't tried this yet. Once done, go to the Photo Albums, then scroll down and look for Photo Curation. Select All Albums, then navigate to Google Photos before selecting the albums that you want to show up on the Google Nest display.
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
Lovely

Hi,
Quick question: Photo curation is about letting Google select what photos to show on the Nests' photo frame. If I turn that on for 'all albums', there is a chance for some images not to be shown on the Nest. See: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Wifi/All-the-photos-in-my-album-are-not-playing-on-my-ho...
How does that impact the automatic de-selection of albums?

I have tried what you suggested but it does not solve the issue

Hi Jake,
what Lovely suggested did not work

Hi DeepikaF,
Sorry for the late response. Google Photos curates the photos shown on your Google Nest displays. It usually removes photos with poor image quality or near duplicates. Check out this link for more information.
Cheers,
Lovely
