I had all my lights connected to Philips Hue and Google Home. And I got two new ones which I paired with Philips Hue, but they didn't show up in Google Home. I tried to do "sync all devices" or "sync my devices" but after 48 hours still not showing up. So I did a terrible thing and unlinked Philips Hue from Google Home and now I can not link them back again no matter what I try.
I have done these things:
- I am connected to same WiFi with my Samsung Galaxy S23 as Philips Hue.
- I have checked if both apps are up to date, and they are.
- I have cleared and removed all integrations between Philips and Google on both sites. Then tried again, same error.
- I created a new account on Philips, added Hue Bridge to that account and added that account as a member of the family with administrator priviliges. And tried to connect Google Home to Philips Hue with the new account, still same error.
- I deleted the new lights in case they were the issue, and tried again, same error.
- I restarted Philips Hue, uninstalled Google Home and Google Assistant, and tried again, still same error.
- I created a new 2,4GHz WiFi network and connected Philips Hue directly by cable to it, and connected my phone to same network, and tried again, same error.
- I tried these methods from both Google Home and Assistant.
- I tried all these methods again with my Samsung Galaxy S21 with newest updat to Androind and both apps. Same error happened there.
- I read somewhere that trying with iPhone solved the issue. I borrowed and iPhone and tried same things with that, same error as well.
- The frustrating part is that Google is showing as a 3rd part app/service when I check what/who has access to Philips Hue. And everytime I clear the integrations and try to link them back again, I can see on my Philips account that Google asked for permission and permission was granted, and even the time Google tried first and second and third time...
The only thing I didn't try is to reset the Hue bridge because that will take a lot of time for me to bring all the lights and scenes back to normal again, and tbh if I would try to reset the bridge I might as well go over to Homey and link everything with it.

Google support wanted to reset my Hue Bridge, which I don't want to do because it will take me many hours to get everything back on track, and therefore created all the support cases.
Anyway, just managed to fix this by trying something new.
I think the issue was that Google having problems importing scenes, rooms, home and lights. So I created a new account on Philips Hue, didn't add it to my home nor the bridge, nor joined anything. Just a simple new account without any home or bridge. Then I tried to connect to it with Google Home, and it worked (with iPhone this time). Then I added the bridge to the new account and somehow all the lights and rooms showed up in Google Home.

So frustrating! For what it's worth i was having similar problems this week, and had done many of the steps you tried, and resetting my hue bridge was the thing that did it for me. 29 lights on the bridge... the hue rooms are at least account tied. as far as the Home integration goes, yeah, I redid that one on my own.

I am having the exact same issue, everything was working perfectly and has been for years, I got a new EE router and set it all up and had to do a reset on my Google Home, now cannot link with HUE account via WIFI or via bluetooth bulbs directly. Tried all the points mentioned above also. The next think i want to try is to set a different default browser, so when hue opens for permissions its on another browser, apparently that works.....

I have tried several browsers, on both android and iphone. Didn't help either.

Just managed to get my hue back on google home via blue tooth as I Don't have a bridge !! When you are in the hue app , add the bulb but don't setup voice assist when doing the initial set up, once it's setup and you have full control and working etc. Then add voice control but instead of pressing google home , I pressed alexa.....(crazy I know) then I opened the google home apparently separately and it found it and connected first try

I think we need to address this issue to Google support. Can we invite them here?
I am pretty sure the issue is within Google Home/Cloud.
I tried to see where these procedures stop, so I did the same procedures via local WiFi again, and it looks like Philips giving the permissions and everytime Google ask again it shows on Philips account that Google used Philips Hue and all the logs and timestamp are correct, that why I think the problem is within Google servers and with the partner integration within the cloud...
Also, I tried same procedures while I was outside the house and it had same results...

Hello, I am in France, I have the same problem for 2 months with my 2 bridges... I tried everything except the reset (but I have 106 lights so...)
I just bought a new bridge to try and it works perfectly, with a new account and a new bridge.
We need a solution quickly from Google or Philips

Similar situation, tried a lot of the same things, getting the same error - Philips says it has given permission, but Google doesn't seem to recognize it.
I have tried chatting with Philips Hue via Facebook but without progress.

Updated my home network to a Mesh and Google Home forgot which rooms had which lights. Read somewhere to unlink /relink Philips Hue in Google Home app and now I'm stuck like the rest in this thread.

I have opened several cases with Google, both Home and Nest, both via web and calling local number.
And all support I got till now has been useless. They refer to knowledge articles which has basic "how to" connect Philips Hue to Google Home.

I had been suffering from the same issue over the last few weeks. However, as of this morning, with no perceptible change from me, it has allowed me to link the hue account and is functioning as expected.
