I've had chromecast for about a year now and it never connected to my Google home app, thought it might've just been a problem with my phone or the streamer itself..
i JUST upgraded my phone and got a couple nest devices. set up the nest on my phone and now i can't control it or do a single thing from the home app and still can't do anything with my tv on there.
this is ultra frustrating. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, making sure I'm on the same wifi network, and i am directly next to the best device. all the "troubleshooting" options do not work at all
