Hi folks,

I'm sorry to hear that your Google Home is not connecting to Wi-Fi ― let's check it out. A few questions: is this for a first time set up? When you did the factory reset, was it the same steps as you see on this link? Are there changes on your Wi-Fi? To enable local network:

  1. Go to your phone's settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Privacy.
  3. Tap Local Network.
  4. Find the Google Home app.
  5. Tap the toggle to enable the setting.

Once done, please turn on Bluetooth and disable mobile/cellular data. Before going through the set up, revert your Google Home to its default and original settings by doing the factory reset one more time.

Tell me how it goes.

Best,

Dan

Hello Dan,

I noticed that with my iPhone 13th and above is not possible to detect Goggle Home device. I used my old Google Pixel 2 and finally I could connect my Google Home to WiFi, but with my IPhone and another new IPhones they can not recognize the device. I checked on Google web page , YouTube , etc etc and I found that this problem is currently happens in new IOS version.

Thanks again and hopefully this problem can be resolved soon.

Hi Noel2,

Thank you for the reply. It seems like this concern is isolated with iOS devices. Here's what we're gonna do ― using the same account, finish the set up on your Google Pixel 2. Once the concern with your iOS devices are resolved, install the Google Home app and use the same email to make your Google Home available. It would really be of big help if you could reach out to Apple for more information and troubleshooting about your iOS devices and tell us how it goes.

Kind regards,

Dan
