Google Home has been used for several years. The device recently started telling me “your Google Home isn’t set up yet.“
The app shows accounts are linked to the device. I have factory reset the device and linked again through the app. But the device still says it’s not set up yet.
I’ve looked on Reddit and found several other people having this issue around the same time. Is this a firmware bug? The firmware appears to be the latest version: 415414

You are correct. So many of us are having the same problem but we have not had any response from Google

Same problems here. Reset, reconnect my Google home device, still not working.

Same here. Reached out to support and they were not helpful at all. They even asked me to delete home and create a new one after full reset, still same issue

Update: a fix is in the works. You should ideally see this resolved in the next firmware update. I'm not sure what the targeted release date is, sorry. But expect soon-ish?
