Hi. I recently moved house and got new wifi. My mini speaker won't connect with WiFi. I have reset it multiple times I have uninstall and installed again home app but it won't help. During configuration the sound is present, I'm choosing the room is located but connection with WiFi is failed. What seems to be a problem?

Hello Emilia,

I have tried this before. You just need to factory reset you home minis again and set it up with your new wifi name and password.

You can also go to your mini device settings and go to Device information, under Wi-Fi click forget. And start from there.

I hope it may help your issue. 🙂

I'm having the same issue, how do you factory reset it?

Hey folks,

Thanks for bringing this up, and apologies for the late response.

I know how challenging it is when you can't connect your Google Home Mini to your network. I appreciate @mvtuico for helping here. Please note that your device has the capability to connect and remember one network only, so I agree that resetting your speaker will fix the issue since you are connecting it to a new network.

To reset the Google Home Mini, please follow the steps below:

  • On the bottom of Home Mini, press and hold the factory reset button located below the power cord. Look for a circle etched into the base. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting. Once done, you can set up your device again then connect it with the new network.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Muddi
